Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia

We at MangaGamer are proud to announce the upcoming release of Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia, available on March 20th.

As some of you may already know, Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia is the sequel/fan-disc to the original Edelweiss game. The new game will pick up where the previous game’s bad ending left off–Kazushi is out of luck, and still has no girlfriend while their summer comes to an end and Appo continues to brag about his nightly exploits. However, when the new semester comes around, so too do new opportunities.

One scenario begins when Sakura, the girl many people suspect is a lesbian, is hanging with the guys and evaluating other chicks with them. When Kazushi says there’s no way he would ever fall for Sakura, Sakura puts her pride as a girl on the line and their competition begins. If he falls for her, he loses! As their classmates start a betting pool to see who’ll win and interfering to better their chances, who knows what ending awaits, let alone how Eiden Island’s power will affect the outcome!

The other scenario begins when Rin and Kazushi are both elected as their class representatives. As the two grow closer together, Kazushi winds up in an accident trying to save her. As a result, he suddenly finds himself with something that speaks residing in his crotch.

After both of these scenarios, there is an extra one that still awaits.

For those of you who enjoyed the first Edelweiss, or those who just want to have a shot Rin and Sakura, this game is a great addition. Also, for those of you who haven’t enjoyed the original Edelweiss yet, we will be offering a bundle pack as well. I hope you all enjoy your adventures on Eiden Island.

so MG… I want to ask in this fandisk, there’s two endings or more?

Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia adds two main story paths: Sakura’s and Rin’s. After completing both of those endings, there is an extra mini-scenario

  2. Gabriel says:

Is it really 10-30 hours long?

    • Lout-kun says:

Wouldn’t that depend on (assuming you don’t just skip all the text) how fast one reads? Even it is a relatively shorter game than the original Edelweiss, I’m still getting it. Eh, wait, I have a question of my own; will this release have a different font(I recall the font discussion elsewhere on the board)?

      • kouryuu9 says:

Our release will not have a different font yet. We are implementing a new font, though, so you will be able to see them soon. I just don’t think that will be done in time for Edelweiss’s release.

I know that it wasn’t mentioned in any way on the post, but since there will be a bundle of Edelweiss + Eiden Fantasia for those who didn’t buy the original one, I want to know if there will be any kind of fixes/updates to Edelweiss’ script or, if it will remain as it is?

  4. Kinji says:

Ah sweet..it finally have its release date time to maybe save up some money to spare for this! oh right Kouryuu as to panchu just like you said in the panchu line topic are you gonna release a pdf of what he says that is understandable a few days later after release?

Somewhat unrelated, but since this is the most current post

Now that Higurashi arc 5 is out, a quick question, how many (if any) music changes were needed for this arc compared to the question arcs?

You guys probably should include a notice with the update tomorrow about the upcoming Edelweiss translation fix, you don’t exactly want to push away customers again who try out a poor quality translation like you did with your initial releases.

Does anyone have a walkthrough for this game??

  9. Omochikaeri says:

Argh, the misplaced question marks are driving me nuts in this game.
